EDF's experience in Cameroon
In 2014, EDF worked for the electricity transmission operator on the diagnosis of networks and protection plans for the RIS / RIN (Réseau Interconnecté Sud et le Réseau Interconnecté Nord (in french) / northern and southern networks).
The group was then involved in 2015 in a technical optimisation study of the operation of the transmission network (reactive compensation).
As part of the Nachtigal hydroelectric project on the Sanaga River, EDF designed the project's 50 km long kV evacuation line and organised the tender phase for its construction.
